South High School’s Gage Webster is off to pitch for the University of Utah after a decorated high school career on the diamond and in the classroom. The left handed pitcher won numerous awards over his four years on the Wolverines varsity squad including being invited to the 2020 Langley Blaze Scout team, the 2019 Arizona Fall Classic, and the 2019 Area Code Games. Gage was named to the 2018 Alaska High School All State team and was named three years running to the Alaska American Legion first team as both a pitcher and outfielder. Gage was talented high school athlete who also played varsity tennis and basketball for the Wolverines. Academically, Gage graduated Magna Cum Laude. He plans to study Business Administration at Utah.
