Tessa Lindberg was named Alaska Sports Hall of Fame Alaska Athlete of the Week after she orchestrated a game-winning drive late in the fourth quarter to power the West Valley Wolfpack to a 21-20 flag football win over North Pole in Fairbanks.

The senior quarterback found freshman Kameron Bartlett on a deep pass for a touchdown to make the score 20-18. West Valley needed only two points to tie, but head coach Travis Walker went for the win. Lindberg connected with Ellaissa Caguiat on the three-point conversion for the game-winning score.

Lindberg passed for three touchdowns and nearly 150 yards for the game and added 20 yards on the ground.

The athlete of the week recipient is selected by a panel each Friday and announced Saturday at 11 a.m. on the Sports Guys on CBS Sports Radio 590AM and 96.7FM.
