Anchorage’s Jack Green’s torrid stretch for the American University men’s soccer team earned him Alaska Athlete of the Week honors.
The junior midfielder from West Anchorage High School has racked up nine points over the last seven games to fuel an unbeaten streak that carried the Eagles into the championship game of the Patriot League Tournament in NCAA Division I action.
The 2019 Alaska Gatorade player of the year assisted on American’s lone goal in a 2-1 loss to Loyola Maryland Saturday in the Patriot League championship.
