After a three-year pause, the Alaska Sports Hall of Fame is selecting a new class of inductees. The Class of 2023 will be honored and inducted at the Anchorage Museum Atrium on April 27, 2023.

1. When is the voting deadline?
The 2022 public vote closes at midnight AK Time, November 30th.
2. If I’m not a sports expert how will I know who to vote for?
Our voting page provides thumbnail bios/photos of all the candidates (plus the option to write-in a vote). The voting experience is easy, fun and even educational!
3. How are the candidates on the voting page determined?
To be listed as a candidate a person, moment or event must have appeared on a ballot in previous years (either the overall public ballot or one of the selection panel ballots).
4. What if I want to select someone not on the voting page?
Write-in campaigns have been very effective in raising awareness and garnering votes for potential inductees.The public is encouraged to write-in a person, moment or event they feel is worthy of consideration and encourage others to do the same.
5. What is the public’s role in the selection process?
The cumulative vote from the public is compiled into one ballot ranking the overall top 10 People, top 5 Moments, and top 5 Events. The public ballot is the equivalent to the ballot of each of the selection panel members. The selection panel must review the full public voting results and all submitted public recommendation forms before casting their own ballots at the selection panel meeting December 4th.
