Anchorage Christian School basketball standout Sayvia Sellers went off for 47 points in their game against the Colony Knights to earn her Alaska Athlete of the Week honors.

The senior guard pumped in a career-high 47 points and outscored the Knights by herself in an 87-46 victory in the Valley.

The 5-foot-7 reigning Gatorade Alaska Player of the Year racked up nine 3-pointers, seven assists and three blocked shots as the Lions ran their in-state winning streak to 110 games.

Sellers sank 17-of-27 shots from the field, including a 9-of-15 clip from 3-point range. She made all four free throws, set a school scoring record and surpassed her previous career high of 41 points set in 2021 against Ketchikan at the ASAA Class 4A state tournament.

The Alaska Athlete of the Week is selected by a panel each Monday.
