Anchorage Christian School standout basketball player Sayvia Sellers finished her high school career having never lost a game in Alaska (79-0) as she led the Lions to their fourth straight state championship with a convincing 57-38 win over Wasilla.

Sellers finishes her career with the Alaska career scoring record with 2,651 to top Alissa Pili’s previous record of 2,614.

She was named Alaska Athlete of the Week for her achievements, hardly the biggest accolade she’s received recently.

Earlier in the week, the Naismith All-American was named Gatorade Alaska Player of the Year for the second time.

Sellers is one of the highest nationally ranked girls to ever come out of Alaska. She plans to play for the University of Washington next fall.

The Alaska Athlete of the Week is selected by a panel each Monday.
