The 29-year-old booked her ticket to this summer’s Olympic Games after securing Team USA’s only spot in women’s trapshooting with her victory at the Trials in Arkansas.

This will be her third trip to the Olympics for the 2008 bronze medal winner.

The women’s trap competition was split into two stages. The first took place back in October of last year and saw Cogdell-Unrein in second place behind Janessa Beaman.

In the second stage, however, Cogdell-Unrein dominated by scoring 10 more points than any other competitor to secure her Olympic spot.
