After competing in only demo rides last fall, Kari Hancock of Anchorage has finally hit the big time with the Texas Christian University equestrian team.
TCU is no slouch either, ranked No. 8 in the country. But she is on the game-day roster for the first time and last weekend started the season with a bang.
Hancock, of South High fame, improved to 1-0 on the year and captured MOP accolades in her first collegiate ride during an 8-2 victory over Delaware State at Turning Point Ranch in Springtown, Texas.
