Julia Rumley of Anchorage has been unbeatable lately for the Grinnell College tennis team.
The junior has won her last four doubles matches to go with a 4-0 record in singles for the NCAA D3 team in Iowa.
In doubles, a new partner has made all the difference.
After she lost her first four matches, Rumley got a new partner and hasn’t lost. She is 3-0 with her new partner Hannah Cook.
Her perfect singles record has pushed her career record to 25-10. She’s gone 15-3 over her last 18 matches.
Rumley, of East High fame, has gone 27-24 in doubles.
