Riding for one of the top NCAA equestrian teams in the country, Kari Hancock of Anchorage did her part to help No. 7 Texas Christian University dominated Delaware State in a 12-3 victory.
The sophomore and her horse Grace scored a 90-85 victory as she was named the meet’s Most Outstanding Player for the second time in her young career.
Later in the day against Centenary she defeated her opponent and earned another MOP honor while riding a very challenging horse.
Hancock, of South High fame, was named to the Big 12 Academic All-Rookie Team with a 4.0 GPA as a biochemistry major.
