Singles, doubles, it doesn’t matter.
The freshman tennis player extended her winning streak in each event during a 4-3 loss to McNeese in NCAA D1 Southland Conference action in Louisiana.
Williams, of South High fame, teamed with doubles partner Erin Walker for an 8-6 win at the No. 2 spot. It was the pair’s third straight win as they improved to 6-5 on the year.
Williams really went to work at No. 6 singles with a 6-2, 7-5 win to post her fifth consecutive win and sixth in eight matches this season.
