Julia Rumley of Anchorage went out a winner.
The Grinnell College senior tennis player won her final tournament with doubles partner Syndey Banach at the Midwest Conference Women’s Tennis Championships in Madison, Wisconsin.
They ran away with the No. 3 doubles event, outscoring opponents 24-4 in three NCAAA D3 matches.
Rumley, of East High fame, went 13-2 this year playing alongside Banach.
Her final win gave Rumley her 50th career doubles win.
