Logan Williams of Anchorage made a promising debut for the Iowa Central Community College bowling team.
The freshman was just one of 17 men out of 187 participants in the Sandhills Classic to carry a 200 average in the tournament at Sun Valley Lanes in Lincoln, Nebraska.
Better yet his high game of 254 tied for the fifth highest.
Williams, of Bartlett High fame, had a four-game total of 805 pins but failed to qualify to the championship round.
