Palmer’s Jake Heun delivered a flurry of punches, kicks and knees, and controlled the mixed martial arts fight for all three rounds to win by unanimous decision at ROAD FC41 in Wonju, South Korea.

Heun beat hometown hero Mu Bae Choi, a decorated former Greco Roman wrestler and one of his country’s first MMA fighters.

The former University of Hawaii football player earned his 11th professional win since turning pro in 2011. He is 11-6 overall.

Heun, of Palmer High fame, has now won three fights by unanimous decision in his career. He was coming off a loss at World Series of Fighting 34 on New Year’s Eve.

The loss was Choi’s seventh in 19 pro fights.
