Anchorage’s Sean Rash racked up another successful week on the PBA Tour with his third straight top-10 finish.

The 36-year-old finished ninth in a field of 64 at the Tournament of Champions at AMF Riviera Lanes in Fairlawn, Ohio.

He also converted one of bowling’s most difficult shots.

Rash made the extremely rare 7-10 split – which has a success rate of about 0.7 percent, or once out of every 145 attempts.

Rash, of Dimond High fame, has cashed in four of five events this season and won the Mark Roth-Marshall Holdman Doubles Championship on Jan. 8 and placed second in the Lubbock Open, losing by one pin.

This is his 14th year on the PBA Tour, during which he’s posted 13 victories and rolled 28 300 games for his career.
