For the second year in a row, Northway’s Cat Papasodora delivered a near-perfect performance for the University of Kentucky rifle team at the NCAA Championships.

The senior marksman was accurate on 97 percent on 1,200 attempts with scores of 589 in air rifle and 579 in smallbore.

Her overall score of 1,168 was tied for the second-highest total for Kentucky and two points better than her total from last season.

The Wildcats finished fifth as a team after winning the 2018 NCAA title.

Papasodora, of Eagle River High fame, finished 16th out of 44 shooters in smallbore and placed 21st out of 44 in air rifle.

Of her 12 rounds of 100 targets, she had four rounds of 99 – two in each discipline.
