Kavya Riedman graduates with honors from South Anchorage High School, having achieved both academic and athletic distinction. As a four-year varsity soccer player for the Wolverines, Riedman was a uniting force in the midfield, playing a key role in the team’s successes as State Finalists in 2017 and 2019, and State Champions in 2018.   In the State Final last year, she scored the lone goal for SAHS.  Riedman also ran cross-country all four years, was a member of National Honor Society, served as Vice President of Key Club, and is a prospective 2020 Alaska Gatorade Player of the Year.  She is heading to Lewis & Clark College as a double major in Biology and Public Policy while pursuing a pre-med trajectory.  Riedman is the recipient of the four-year Dean’s scholarship and the Walker Grant for Academics.  She is excited to be playing for their women’s soccer team this coming fall.
