Dynamic Soldotna football player Zac Buckbee was voted the Alaska Athlete of the Week after cashing in on a touchdown trifecta in a 62-19 victory over Bartlett.
A quarterback and defensive back, he scored on a 6-yard run, threw a 6-yard scoring strike and took a fumble 40 yards to the house.
Under center he completed his only pass attempt and added 30 yards on the ground.
His scoop and score fumble return gave the Stars a 21-6 lead with 39 seconds left in the first quarter.
